all of these factors suit up in battle against what you know to be good. true character is the ability to hold them down: control them. 

personally, i don’t know as to why this chain of thought bounces back. is it my true colors persisting? does He think better of me than i do myself? 

cloudy days will come and go but the sun is always behind em, waiting to shine thru.

this vibe will always imprint my current thinking

its always on trust isn’t it?

when times are hard, you diminish it

vice versa in 2 weeks, go ahead, replenish it

make space between those loved, hope you all are listenin

but as that space gets larger

so does the heart get darker

once filled with more than just your ma and father

and so as my feet quicken with each step i’ve drawn

i realize the plot thickened, i have no one to fall back upon

im stressed because i don’t want to be a nurse or a teacher or a lawyer i just want to read books and listen to music and travel and drink coffee but there’s so much pressure to become successful in terms of money and my career and i don’t want to do any of that

isn’t it crazy how a mindset can flip depending on who surrounds you?

i guess kdot said it the best, “shit im with the homies”. when you have your ideas straight with no influential factors, life is simple.

but association will change you. possible into something you’ll regret later.

i guess that’s where mental strength and faith plays it’s part.
